WE SLEPT THROUGH A FULL NIGHT!!!!

We finally did it...one whole night with consecutive sleeping hours. Although we missed our heart to hearts, we didn't complain and find that those conversations are just as good during normal day hours...if not better!
Today we successfully caught our first bus and headed south to Waterford. We soon discovered that we were actually staying in the beautiful city of Tramore, 15 minutes outside of Waterford, right on the coast (St. George's Channel). It is beautiful! We laid out on the beach today, because yes...it was gloriously sunny...who says it rains ireland anyway - God loves us - or maybe he just thought we deserved a break after being pelted with rain the previous day on our hike! We watched surfers, business men go shirtless in slacks, life gaurds in jump suits (p.s. we are finding that jump suits are very popular here and are wondering if we should invest in our own...preferably a pink adidas, if they exist). There was a cute carnival with carnie rides and all next to the beach. We walked through town and enjoyed a pub or two for dinner and spirits.
The people we are staying with are amazing and there are many others here too! A brazilian, two Germans, one french, a pennsyvania (ooohhhhh exotic) - who bleeds DMB and our host... dear Karen! We will head in to Waterford tomorrow for the festivities and are excited for the music and FUN! We stayed in tonight for relaxation and Kelly has pre-cold symptoms, so we are taking it easy. No need to worry she is slamming vitamin C, Jamison, and germs will not get the best of her! Mom..breathe...don't freak out...I have not wrestled with any swines recently and according to the metro poster on swine flu symptoms, I am not a match. haha...just a tickle! All for now...keep reading, these bound to only get better at the rate we are going!

I was JUST there last week with a friend from the states visiting another friend from Belfast! So now I may need to sneak another trip over there- or you could sneak a trip over to brussels!! 4. Kelly and Amy, this is Daddy Mac using Mama Mac's computer because we haven't figured out how to post comments on my computer yet? Pretty lame 'hey? Anyway, so glad you are doing a blog so we can share your adventure from here. Seems like you are enjoying Ireland so far and I hope the vitamin C and the Jameson's help with your cold symptoms. If you do get a cold it will be part of your great Irish adventure that you can embrace and rejoice when you are over the cold. Hope you know it has been in the 100s and 90s in the Pacific Northwest lately, so 64 and a cold in Ireland is better than stifling in Oregon and Washington. Mom and I are going to Irish Fest (Aug 12-15) so we will be feeling some of what your feeling for a few days. Thanks again for the updates - it makes our days. Love, Daddio
