Dublin by foot, ponchos are amazing...

View of Baily Lighthouse on our hike of Howth Hill!

More views from atop the deadly cliffs of Howth!

Our one size fits all panchos! Do you see how we could have taken flight...YEP!

Us and dear old Patrick the poet...rub his head for luck, a runner on a jog did!

Yes! This is a random man standing in a bush holding a stick in front of his face! Best sighting of the day - location...Stephen's teenage make out spot I mean green!

Random alley, calls for random picture!

Amy's first Guinness...12:30pm Thursday July 30th. Had to be documented!

Hi...is anyone reading this? Well we're writing anyway. Yesterday we took Dublin by storm. We started at the Guinness Storehouse, obviously. It was a 7 floor tour of awesomeness, ending at the gravity bar with a free pint. We ordered our one and found a bench seat with a great view of Dublin. We made a quick friend next to us who offered us three extra beer tickets. We denied him due to the fact that our one...no half of one had us already quite tipsy. Nothing like a beer at 12 in the afternoon. We left and continued to explore Dublin by foot. Honestly, we actually stumbled upon everything else we wanted to see. Dublin Castle, Trinity College, Christ Church, Stephen's Green and of course our dear friend Patrick Kavanaugh. That was the end of Dublin, neither of us are city girls.
We have hadour first and second encounters with jet lag as we have our best heart to heart conversations around 2-5am! We wake up in the middle of the night pretty much ready to run a marathon!
But we continue to live it up in the daylight and today we headed out to the town of Howth and did the Howth Hill. It was beatiful day...nothing like being pelted with rain and almost being blown off of a beautiful cliff side. But don't worry we had our ponchos to keep us safe...one size fits all - LIARS...we looked like over weight ghosts running down the street and had we been wearing them on the cliff we would have taken flight. Saftey precautions...obviously. It truly was gorgeous though and the rain only made it feel that much more Ireland-ish!
We are headed to Waterford tomorrow and are excited for a bus ride of sitting after all this walking and to get out of the city! BYE!
